It is not for no reason. Legend has it that D’antor was a mother in the north side of Haiti in the mountains. Her and her son lived peacefully until she noticed the unrest and slavery occurring at the bottom of the mountains. August 14th, 1791 she came down in possession for the first time and she along with the Haitian people were fed up with the abuse and torture inflicted upon them by the French. This was the start of a revolution. She worked and fought tirelessly with Ogou to free her people. Sacrifices were made including her tongue and smooth cheek but her people were free. Now when she comes down in possession there is few words but her strength is more than noticeable. 

When you hear kekekeke! You know it’s D’antor and she’s come with her Petwo force. Ezili D’antor is love in a different manner than Ezili Freda. She is love through sacrifice.
